Charity Associations / Events

Every year, I run yoga workshops to raise money for charity. It helps the charity to be well known among local yoga/fitness enthusiast in addition to the local communities. It helps provide funds to the charity, that can be used for their goals. It helps local community to come together and contribute for the cause and make new friends in the process.

TSP aims to bring communities in Maidenhead together.

The Sanatan Dharma with its roots in India, maintains that the whole world is One Family. This grand multi-cultural tradition inherently nurtures individuals into responsible citizens who celebrate their identities, respect differences, integrate seamlessly and contribute positively to the society wherever they live, transcending country, race, gender, religion etc.

Scouting believes the world is a better place when people are trustworthy, self-controlled and self confident, have self respect and respect for others, work together to serve other people and to improve society, show responsibility towards the natural world and proper respect for possessions, property and have an active religious faith.

The Scout Promise expresses the principles of duty to God, Self and Others.

Our goal is to help people in poverty who live in and around Maidenhead. Our main activities focus on people who are isolated, in poverty or in need of help.

The primary aims and objectives of the HSS activities revolve around Sanskar(spiritual development) Sewa (service to humanity) and Sangathan (coming together) thus promotion Hindu dharma Hindu ideals and Hindu way of life in the British multicultural environment

Founded in 1990, Umed Pariwar is a Pune based organization that works for the specialized needs and betterment of PwIDD (Persons with Intellectual Development Disability). The organization is an association formed by conscious parents with children as PwIDD.

Our goal is to provide world class infrastructure facilities for total rehabilitation of Mentally Challenged and Cerebral Palsy persons and to give them right status in the society and improve their quality of life continuously by on-going research, training & re-training. This enables the handicapped persons to be a contributory, functional and accepted fellow human being within society.

Founded by Dr. Kiran Bedi along with 16 police officers, since our inception in 1988 we have been working seamlessly towards the upliftment of underprivileged sections of the society and provide marginalized groups with an opportunity to live a dignified life.

Our idea of crime prevention through social development is to foster interventions intended to reduce or eliminate the motives for crime before they arise which we intent to facilitate by of promoting education among underprivileged, micro-entrepreneurship, development of provision of healthcare, livelihood for children and women affected by the lack of resources.

Pehchaan ``The Street School`` is an initiative to enlighten those little minds, through education, who remain deprived for their whole life.


Pehchaan was formed in Mumbai in 2014, under the leadership of Ms. Afsana, she took up the initiative towards betterment and advancement of society through education.
 

We have grown to 135 volunteers (which mostly comprises of youngsters) over a short span of time due to her motivation and vision.
