Yoga Philosophy: Bodies Are Unique

There isn’t one “perfect” alignment that works for everyone. Teachers who emphasize body awareness and internal sensation rather than external alignment may intentionally give fewer corrections to help students find what feels right for their own bodies.

You are not Yoga robots

I want my students to be in the moment, listen to the verbal cues carefully, with full awareness, and work on that body part at that moment. You are not yoga robot. Awareness is what we want at all times.

Respect for Students’ Comfort & Consent

Touch and physical correction can be very personal. Some students feel uncomfortable, triggered, or self-conscious when touched — particularly in group settings. Each student have varied definition of personal space and I respect their personal boundaries.

Class Style and Intent

Not all classes are meant to be heavily corrective. In my classes, I want people to feel more, rather than how it looks.
